How does it work?
A client messages you — the bot understands text, voice notes, photos and documents, finds the answer in your knowledge base and replies on its own. It remembers what was already discussed with each client. The knowledge base — your business description, services, prices and FAQs — can be a Google Doc via a link or a file: PDF, Excel/CSV, txt or md (a simple list works too).
In the wizard you choose how the bot wraps up a conversation. “Books appointments” — for salons, barbershops, car services and clinics: connect Google Calendar and the bot offers the client free slots, taking your working hours and staff into account, and books the appointment; without a calendar it asks for a convenient time and your administrator confirms. “Takes requests and orders” — the bot clarifies what the client needs and takes their name and contact. “Consultation only” — it answers questions and creates a request only if the client asks to be contacted. Bookings and requests reach you by email and in your account.
What you will need: a Telegram bot — created in two or three minutes via @BotFather, free and with no paperwork. No AI key is needed: AI is included in your Profiforce subscription, and your own key is optional. The bot handles WhatsApp too, and the steps for it are in the same wizard, but that route needs a Meta business account and company verification: it takes longer and does not always pass on the first try. You connect WhatsApp yourself, following the step-by-step guide in the Help section.
